Conceptual depth

JEE Advanced > NEET > JEE Main. Advanced problems require multi-step reasoning and non-standard setups. NEET rewards NCERT mastery over deep reasoning. Main is in between — formulaic but time-pressured.

Competition

NEET: 23+ lakh candidates for ~1 lakh MBBS seats. JEE Main: 10+ lakh for top NITs/IIITs. JEE Advanced: ~2.5 lakh qualifiers for ~17,000 IIT seats. NEET has higher volume; Advanced has higher concentration of talent.

Preparation time

All three demand 24 months. NEET memory-heavy (50% Biology). JEE problem-heavy (Physics + Maths). Each has its own rhythm.
